2011 Nissan Titan

I bought this truck in the Spring of 2011.  It is the Nissan Titan Crew Cab.

To date, I have made several modifications and added several accessories to the truck.  They include:

Engine

  • VK56DE – Endurance 5.6-liter DOHC 32-valve V8 engine
    • 317 hp @ 5,200 rpm
    • 385 lb-ft of torque @ 3,400 rpm
  • Flexible Fuel Vehicle (FFV) Technology (Titan FFVs are available in North Central, South Central, Southeast, and Mid-Atlantic regions only.)
  • Emissions – Tier 2-Bin 5 (Fed); LEV2-LEV (CA)

  • Nissan Direct Ignition System

Drivetrain

  • Rear-wheel drive
  • Switch-operated 2-speed transfer case 4-wheel drive (4WD high – 1.000; 4WD low – 2.596)
  • 5-speed automatic transmission with Tow/Haul Mode
  • Final gear ratio (2.94:1 – similar to a 4-speed automatic 3.73:1)
  • Lower final gear ratio (3.36:1 – similar to a 4-speed automatic 4.10:1)
  • 4-wheel Active Brake Limited Slip (ABLS) – 4×4
  • 2-wheel Active Brake Limited Slip (ABLS) – 4×2
